August 7

Wifi is down most of the time so I cannot update much. Training going well—dear people with amazing faith. Starting Sunday through Wednesday I will be in a different town each day doing training, using our trainees. Keep praying. Updates to this blog will be rare due to poor wifi.

A long good Sunday in Pallisa, a rural area. I preached & we did training in afternoon. Sweet people, beautiful kids, “dancing dirtroad” (potholes and ruts). Received gift of a live chicken.

A good day of training and safe travel to Iganga. More moving stories of faith, hardship, love (a family with 9 kids), Muslims turning to faith in Christ, and a 5 year old named Regan who became a memorable role model by “following” me. Wednesday is last day of training—this time in Kumi, a 45-minute drive.
